Candle-making Workshop

In this workshop, the residents that have been trained in candle-making are given the opportunity to express themselves through a material that provides a wide variety of possibilities. It helps them gain or improve both motor and mental skills by expressing the way they feel through their creations while better understanding the elements of aesthetics.

The residents feel active and creative while developing their senses and practicing their fine-motor skills to make original objects. The materials used are paraffin wax, beeswax and different kinds of molds in order to create candles in all shapes, sizes and colours. Paschal Candles are also made in genuine colours and designs for the celebration of Easter. Overall, this is an important workshop that promotes imagination and creativity.
